Summer Village Family Recreational Amenities

Even the littlest children love to bike around the safe streets of Summer Village. Spur-of-the-moment games of Hide n' Seek or Capture the Flag are favorite pastimes, and there is running competition to catch the biggest fish in the pond.

Kids discover the joys of unstructured play time with friends and families reconnect while splashing in the pool or playing a rousing game of Baggo®.

At Summer Village, children tend to spend the day outside. In addition to exploring the sandy beach and woodlands, biking around the neighborhood and playing games, families at Summer Village particularly enjoy:

• Family pool: This 30' x 60' pool with adjacent toddler pool is a favorite with parents and children alike. The restrooms in
  are just steps away and umbrella tables are ideal for poolside lunches. Swimming lessons are even available during the summer season!
• Playground: Slides, swings, a climbing wall and more make the playground a big hit with our youngest cottage owners. The playground is surrounded by a deep layer of bark mulch for maximum safety.
• Basketball court: Our full-size basketball court is always hopping with pick-up games, one-on-one games of HORSE, tournaments and occasional clinics.
• Arcade: Kids can take a break from the mid-day sun and enjoy some time in the air-conditioned Arcade in the Pavilion. You'll even find quite a few adults testing their skill at a wide array of favorite arcade games.
• Baggo® Bag Toss: The field next to the shuffleboard and bocce courts is home our official area for Baggo®, a bag toss game that is becoming one of the hottest outdoor games around.

Aside from the adult pool and hot tub and the Hildreth Gym, all amenities at Summer Village are open to kids, except during "quiet hours" (after 10 pm on weekdays and 11 pm on weekends).

Families and children on their own are welcome to use the putting green; bocce, horseshoe and shuffleboard courts; tennis courts and walking trails.
