Summer Village at the Pond is a seasonal, pet-friendly community open from mid-April to mid-October. It features:
- 159 acre site, including 2600 feet of water frontage, beautiful pond views, clear waters and hiking trails that lace through 105 acres of undeveloped woodlands and fields.
- 276 gracious, seasonal cottages, clustered in small neighborhoods throughout the site. Cottages include either a three-season or open porch, full kitchens, two bedrooms and optional open storage lofts.
- Staffed gatehouse to ensure privacy and security.
- Complete outdoor recreational facilities, including a sandy beach; family pool and heated adult pool; tennis courts; basketball court; bocce and horseshoe areas; synthetic putting green; playground; and neighborhood pocket parks, where neighbors can sit and visit or just relax.
- The private waterfront Lodge with a full restaurant, bar and game room, lounge, library, screened porch, patio with a fire pit and lake view, and a beachside snack bar.
- The Hildreth Gym, featuring a complete fitness center, showers and changing rooms, with outdoor access to the adjacent heated adult pool and hot tub.
- The Pavilion, a screened building for activities such as neighborhood dances, family game nights, performances and Friday night outdoor movies. The Pavilion also has an arcade, restrooms and a changing area for the adjacent family pool.
- The Barn, located at the entrance of Summer Village, includes a general store offering light refreshments, ice cream and a unique selection of gift items.
- The Post Office features a mail room, community bulletin board, and an open porch and deck with comfortable rocking chairs.
- Dog Paddle Park, a fenced-in area near the waterfront where dogs and their owners can mingle and play in a beautiful location.
- Daily, fun-filled activities for residents of all ages, scheduled by a full-time activities director.
