What a great day for Live Music, swimming, and an Ice Cream Sundae bar! That's what the crowds were enjoying at Summer Village yesterday. It was warm and sunny, and our beach was filled with our owners and their friends, as well as Visitor Center guests, listening to the sounds of Me and Julio. There was plenty of dancing and lots of special requests from this lively cover band, followed by one of the Lodge's famouse Ice Cream Sundae Bars! We had many new visitors to Summer Village yesterday, and we hope to see you all again soon!!

This Sunday 8/29 from 3-6, we will be featuring the music of Me and Julio, a popular Boston area cover band, on our Lodge patio! Come hear great music, enjoy a picnic on the beach and then indulge in our Make Your Own Sundae bar! Check out the band at meandjulio.net!!
Come early and take a tour of Summer Village to see all we have to offer!! Our Visitor Center opens at 12:00!

What a beautiful day we had yesterday for our Annual Day at the Beach!! Whether they were swimming in the lake, playing games on the sand, or taking a break for a snack or some lunch, our visitors and residents had a ball!

Everyone was out Sunday enjoying the Irish and American folk music of Mollies Misfits!! There was dancing and singing, and all requests were played. Whether they chose to listen to the music from the Summer Village Beach, or up close on the Lodge Patio, the afternoon was enjoyed by many cottage owners, and visitors alike!

Our new models on Wildwood drew many visitors, owners and their friends today! Everyone was commenting on the beautiful decor and colors, and loved all the different options we've highlighted in these 5 new models! Visitors particularly enjoyed seeing the many different styles, options and upgrades available in our cottages, and our Summer Village residents came through for new exciting decorating ideas!
Our Model Preview continues tomorrow from 12-4 with light refreshments and raffles as well!!

Our five new models on Wildwood Drive are all furnished and ready for you to see! Our Sycamore model is light and bright, featuring a wide open floor plan, as does the Hickory which also has a beautiful outdoor porch! The Balsam has a great 3-season porch and large storage loft, and the Aspen features our unique wood paneled ceiling option! The Fernwood, with it's bedrooms on either side, has a large eat-in style kitchen as well!
Each one is decorated beautifully to show all the many options and upgrades available for our cottages. Visit this weekend Saturday or Sunday 12-4 to tour these new, colorful models and enjoy light refreshments and raffles!

We had a fabulous time today at Kayak Day! The pros from EMS did a great job showing everyone the ins and outs of safe, fun kayaking and the weather couldn't have been better! Many new visitors to Summer Village enjoyed the day on the pond as well as lots of our Summer Village residents!

We had a great week last week here at Summer Village! On Thursday, Westford's Corey Cole came by to show us all how to plant beautiful Annual Planters like the pros, and give us some tips on outdoor gardening. She left us with a gorgeous arrangement for the Visitor's Center.
On Sunday we kicked off our Open House/Music Series with a great afternoon of Blues and Rock brought to us by ArteK and Friends. Many owners and visitors gathered on the Lodge Patio, the Beach and poolside to hear the music. Our next live music event will be on Sunday July 25 at 1:00 when Summer Village will host the Mollie's Misfits, a traditional and pub Irish music band! Come and dance, sing-along and enjoy our beautiful beach!

Sunday was a banner day for fishing at our beautiful Long Sought For Pond! Summer Village was buzzing with activity and everyone who tried their hand at fishing had success!!
Congratulations to visitors the Rubin-Baker family for winning the fishing pole and tacklebox raffle! And to our own Peg Miller for having the catch of the day!! Thanks again to the Mass Fisheries and Wildlife for lending us all the equipment, and the Forge Pond Bassmasters for sharing their time, expertise and skill with us all day!
