The Summer Village Waterfront
The sparkling waters of Long-Sought-For Pond are the focal point of Summer Village's beautiful waterfront area. The pond's clear waters are perfect for swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The state even stocks the pond with trout twice a year!
Summer Village's wide, sandy beach gently slopes to the water. Toddlers will enjoy splashing at the water's edge, while older kids and adults can swim, snorkel and play games in the gradually deeper waters within the swimming area.
The beach is a favorite spot for making sandcastles, picnicking, sunbathing and playing beach volleyball.
The waterfront area features:
- Lifeguards from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, during the summer season
- Sunfish, kayaks and canoes available free to cottage owners on a first-come, first-served basis
- Docks for fishing and sunbathing (a great spot to sit and read!)
- Restrooms with direct beach access located in the nearby Lodge.
